New poll shows Hochul with substantial lead over Zeldin in Governors race

NEW YORK, NEW YORK-(77 WABC)- The latest poll shows  Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul with a substantial lead over Republican Lee Zeldin in the Governors race ahead of the November 8th election. The Siena College poll shows Hochul with a 14-point lead over the Long Island congressman.

When asked who voters would select today– 53% percent  said they’d vote for Hochul while 39% said they would vote for Zeldin.

Hochul also doing well among women — 59% percent of women voters favor Hochul —-while only 33% percent favor Zeldin.
