A McDonald’s Employee in Critical Condition after Being Shot During a Dispute Over a Food Order

Brooklyn, NY (77WABC)-A McDonald’s employee is in critical condition at Brookdale University Hospital after being shot in his neck during a dispute over a food order in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn Monday evening.

Detective Pisano of the DCPI , (The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information),  told 77WABC Radio that the 20-year-old son of the woman the employee had the dispute with allegedly shot the employee in his neck around 7 pm.

The Detective says while on break, the employee went outside, crossed the street and confronted the woman’s son. The Detective says the woman’s son pulled out a gun and shot the 23-year-old employee in his neck.

Police  from the 79th Precinct canvassed the area taking the 20-year-old into custody. Charges are pending.

Police are not yet releasing the names of those involved.
