New York, NY (77WABC)- Police say a woman walking in the Times Square area on Sunday was suddenly attacked by a man with a boxcutter.It was reported to police that on Sunday, July 31, 2022, around 10 in the morning, the man carrying the boxcutter approached a woman from behind slashing her with the boxcutter on her right hand.
The attack happened near 7th Avenue and West 42 Street.
According to police, the female victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. The individual fled eastbound on East 42 Street.
The attached photo and video released by the NYPD show the suspect that police are searching for in connection with Sunday’s unprovoked attack.
