NEW YORK, NEW YORK-(77WABC)- Manhattan D-A Alvin Bragg says he could see charges dropped against bodega worker Jose Alba. The United Bodegas of America had a closed-meeting Tuesday with Bragg about getting him to drop the charges against the 61 year old. Alba was arrested and jailed at Riker’s Island for stabbing an ex con to death, after video surveillance showed the man moving behind the counter—and threatening Alba after his his girlfriend was denied a bag of chips at the Hamilton Heights Bodega.
