Intern Dean Pavlou – Legends Forever

homepage-8

On Thursday night the Golden State Warriors captured their fourth title in eight years as they defeated the Boston Celtics 103-90 in game six of the NBA Finals. In game six Steph Curry scored 34 points to go along with 7 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Andrew Wiggins who played incredibly well during the finals had 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists on 7 of 18 shooting from the field. Wiggins was Golden State’s second-best player during the playoffs behind Curry and I think earned himself a contract extension from the Warriors. Out of all The Warriors championships Coach Kerr said’ “that this was the most unlikely of them all”. This is because Golden State had to overcome a lot with Klay Thompson being out until January and not knowing what to expect from him once he returned, and not knowing what to expect from the guys like Jordan Poole, Gary Payton 11, and Otto Porter. The first time I started to believe that the Warriors would win the NBA Finals was after the Suns surprisingly got bounced by the Dallas Mavericks in the second round. I agree with Coach Kerr because I didn’t see Golden State winning it all this year but their experience, and championship pedigree pushed them over the top this year. The parade for the Warriors will take place this afternoon.
