NEW YORK, NEW YORK -(77-WABC)- It appears liberal billionaire George Soros is getting into the radio business.
Soros reportedly wants to buy 18 Hispanic radio stations throughout the country—-including Miami’s Radio Mambi.
The station is highly popular among Miami’s Cuban exile community–-projecting an anti communism view.
Media conservatives fear Radio Mambi would be controlled by liberals. The station reportedly could employ staffers who worked for President Obama and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
The reported $60 million dollar deal must be approved by the Federal Communications Commission.
