(Brooklyn, NY)-Police say an early morning shooting on Tuesday, May 31st, left a 29-year-old man dead.
At 1:40 am police responded to a 911 call of a man shot near the corner of Marcy Avenue and Lexington Avenue. Officers from the 79 Precinct found the man with a gunshot wound to his head, in front of 367 Lexington Avenue.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
Police say the identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
