Who do you believe in the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard Defamation Trial?

“Pirates of the Caribbean” star Johnny Depp sued his ex-wife, Amber Heard for defamation to the tune of $50 million. Depp claims Heard tarnished his reputation and harmed his career when she described herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse” in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed she authored.

Depp, who countersued Heard for $100 million, not only denies Heard’s allegations of abuse, but claims he was the true victim in their rocky marriage.

Both actors have offered court testimony that many observers have found credible and compelling. The proceedings will resume next week with closing arguments set for Friday, May 27th.
