NEW YORK -(77 WABC)- A Long Island woman was convicted today in connection with the brutal murders of four young men by MS -13 gang members. Prosecutors claimed Leniz Escobar lured the men to the gang in 2017. Escobar had pleaded not guilty to the deadly massacre involving machetes and knives in Central Islip park. Prosecutors say the murders had spawned from from a rivalry with another gang. Escobar was found guilty of all charges. She faces up to life in prison. The 22 year old will be sentenced in September.
