DENVER, COLORADO- (77WABC) -A fire broke out Thursday at Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High Stadium—the home of the NFL’s Denver Broncos. Columns of black smoke could be seen coming from inside the stadium. The fire was reportedly coming from the suite level of the complex . Denver fire officials say firefighters have been extinguishing flames on the suite and third levels of the complex. The stadium opened in 2001. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
