NEW YORK (77WABC) — Appearing on The Cats Roundtable with 77WABC owner John Catsimatidis, Republican Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin says people should be “outraged” at The New York Times for only recently confirming the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
“I am just amazed that the New York Times just now came to the conclusion that the Hunter Biden laptop was genuine,” Johnson said. “Where have they been? That was pretty obvious within a week or two of the New York Post’s stories.”
Johnson also demanded apologies from the 51 former U.S. intelligence experts who cast doubt on The Post’s reporting on the device.
Johnson referred to The Post’s exclusive reports back in October of 2020 on Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings and his connection to the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma while Joe Biden was vice president.
Johnson also says the FBI would not confirm the laptop as genuine. The laptop, left at a Delaware computer repair shop by Hunter Biden detailed his relationships in Ukraine and china, implicating his father.
