NEW YORK (77WABC) — A man was seriously injured early this morning after being shot multiple times on a Midtown sidewalk.
The shooting happened near the corner of 50th Street and 3rd Avenue in front of the Fifty NYC hotel around 4:15 a.m. An eyewitness account says six gunshots rang out before the man was found bleeding on the ground.
The gunshots appeared to have been near his legs and groin. The man was taken away by EMTs.
