WASHINGTON (AP) — Police say they’ve arrested man suspected of stalking, killing homeless on streets of New York City and Washington D.C.
Police say the suspect shot and injured two other people experiencing homelessness earlier in the month in Washington and one other person Saturday in New York.
Between the two cities, there have been five shootings and two homicides “cold-blooded” shootings caught on camera.
In Soho on Saturday, around 6 am, the shooter killed a homeless man in a sleeping bag in front of 148 Lafayette Street after kicking him to see if he was asleep..
About an hour before that, a sleeping 38-year-old man was shot in front of 54 King St. The 38-year -old is expected to be ok.
The NYPD says a 43-year-old homeless man was discovered dead in Tribeca Sunday night on Murray St. The man had an injury to his right leg.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
