NYC bracing for late winter storm

NEW YORK, NEW YORK -(77WABC)- After two days —Sunday and Monday of 70 plus degree weather, the tri state is bracing for a late winter storm.

Winter weather advisories are posted in areas well north and west of the city.

Rain and snow developing overnight into Wednesday morning, then snow falling most of the day.  About about one inch of wet snow could accumulate in NYC—with 3 inches or more inland.  The NYC Department of Sanitation has issued a Winter Operations Advisory for Wednesday, starting at 6 a.m.

The Jersey shore and Long Island’s s south shore should see mostly rain.
