NY: New York State Democratic Committee 2022 State Nominating Convention
NEW YORK (77WABC) — Hillary Clinton is responding to allegations her campaign spied on rival Former President Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential race.
Clinton, speaking to the NY state democratic convention claims the ‘spying’ accusations against her are a ‘conspiracy’ to distract from trump’s legal woes. She called it desperate and a fake scandal.

“We can’t get distracted, whether it’s by the latest culture war nonsense, or some new right wing lie on Fox or Facebook – by the way they’ve been coming after me again lately in case you might have noticed,” Clinton told the New York Democratic Convention in response to special counsel John Durham’s filing over on Friday. “It’s funny, the more trouble Trump gets into the wilder the charges and conspiracies about me seem to get.”
A small also crowd booed and chanted ‘lock her up’ when she arrived at the hotel.

There was no mention from Clinton about the possibility of running for the White House again in 2024, instead she criticized the GOP.
