NEW YORK -(77WABC)- Investigators say that actor comedian Bob Saget died after hitting the back of his head on his bed’s headboard.
Saget was found dead on January 9th in his hotel room at the Orlando Ritz-Carlton.
Sources told TMZ that the electronic front door lock to his hotel room shows no one else entered the room after him. It was only opened again the next afternoon, when hotel staff found him dead.
Saget’s family have since filed an injunction to prevent the release of further records about the tragedy.
Candace Cameron Bure, who was Saget’s co-star on Full House and its reboot Fuller House, said developments in the late actor’s death raise ‘a lot of questions’ and have led to a ‘difficult’ past few weeks. Meantime a judge in Florida has agreed with a request from the family of comedian Bob Saget and temporarily prohibited the release of any photos, video or other records related to the investigation into his death. The judge said Wednesday that refusing to issue the temporary injunction would have caused the family irreparable harm. Saget’s wife, Kelly Rizzo, and his three daughters, filed a lawsuit the previous day in Orlando, Florida, asking the state judge for a ruling that would prohibit the release of the records. The judge has not yet ruled on whether the family’s privacy concerns outweigh any claims for the records to be released.
