NEW YORK (77WABC) — Sources tell 77WABC that a person of interest has been arrested in the shooting death of 19-year-old Kristal Bayron-Nieves.

Dramatic video released by the NYPD shows the killer waving his gun and aiming it at people inside a Burger King located at 116th Street and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan just before 1 a.m Sunday.

Police say the killer first pistol-whipped a male customer and then punched a female manager before fatally shooting Bayron-Nieves, who had only been working at the fast food restaurant for three weeks.

Bayron-Nieves was shot once in the torso and rushed to Metropolitan Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

John Catsimatidis, owner and operator of 77WABC, is offering a $10,000 reward for the arrest, and conviction of the suspect. The NYPD has added $6,500 to that reward.

Crime Stoppers is also offering a $3,500 reward for his capture, bringing the total to $20,000.
