LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA-(77WABC) James Corden announced Thursday that he tested positive for COVID-19 and had to cancel tapings of “The Late Late Show” as he recovers.
According to Page Six , Corden said “I just tested positive for covid 19. I’m fully vaccinated, boosted and because of this am fortunate enough to say I feel completely fine,”
in a statement posted to his Instagram.
He added, “The show will be off the air for the next few days.”
Corden asked that his fans do their best to stay healthy amid the pandemic as cases of the Omicron variant rise.
Corden is just the latest in a string of late-night hosts to come down with the novel coronavirus. Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon were recently diagnosed with COVID 19.
