NEW YORK, YORK -(77WABC)-New York University says students, faculty and staff members, will be required to get a COVID 19 booster shot prior to the spring semester.
The number of cases requiring people to be hospitalized with the Omicron and the Delta variant is on the rise in New York.
The deadline for the boosters will be January 18th, of next year.
Many other colleges and universities are also imposing COVID regulations. Syracuse University is also requiring boosters for students and staff at the start of the new semester.
