News: Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
NEW YORK, NEW YORK (77WABC) -The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is back this year in full force.
Hundreds of thousands of spectators are expected to turn out for the parade on November 25th , after the parade grinded to a halt last year during the pandemic.
The parade will feature 15 giant balloons, with some new characters this year, plus dozen of floats as the parade makes its way down Broadway.
The Rockettes will be performing, as well as the cast of the NBC live production of “Annie.”
People will be allowed to view the traditional balloon inflation on Wednesday, however you must show proof of vaccination.
