Coram, NY (77WABC)-Suffolk County Police received a 911 call late Saturday afternoon of an injured person at 19 Hartford Drive in Coran. Officers arrived to find 27-year-odl Meghan Kiefer, lying on the front lawn of her home with stab wounds. Police say Kiefer was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Suffolk County Police this morning announced the arrest of an Albany, NY man in connection with the fatal stabbing of Kiefer.
Homicide Squad detectives arrested Kason Parker on Sunday, October 24th. He is charged him with Murder 2nd Degree. The 33-year-old Parker of 11 Teunis St. i Albany will be arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip.
Police have not released a motive in the case.
