WASHINGTON (77WABC) – President Biden’s work mandates for vaccinations and testing may be completed as soon as next week, according to NBC News.
This would mean any employer with 100 or more employees must make sure all their workers are vaccinated or tested regularly according to the Labor Department.
This will affect over 80 million in the workforce. Among the chief concerns, how to enforce the mandates and the legal challenges being leveled by Republican Attorneys General. It’s reported that OSHA, officially tasked with ensuring companies comply, may not be able to handle the volume of cases.
Who will cover the cost of weekly testing and the type of test required is also being called into question.
Vaccination requirements have already increased vaccination rates in many hospitals, schools and private businesses.
