New York, NY (77WABC)-Video posted to Citizen App NYC shows the scene as police investigate the shooting of at least five people in the Inwood section of Manhattan around 4 am.
A responding officer shot one person whose weapon was recovered at the scene near the 11:11 Restaurant & Lounge at at 10th Ave & 211 th Street,
The officer involved in the shooting was taken to a hospital to be checked out for ringing in the ears. The condition of the shooting victims is unknown at this time.
It’s not known what prompted the shooting, which remains under investigation.
