MOAB, Utah — The Moab City Police Department released bodycam footage of officers speaking to Gabby Petito and her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, in Utah after responding to a domestic incident call last month.
Police released the hour-long footage Thursday of their interaction with the couple after they pulled over their white van outside Arches National Park in Moab on Aug. 12. In the footage obtained by ABC7, Petito was seen crying as she spoke to an officer.

“I have really bad OCD. I was apologizing to him saying I’m sorry I’m so mean,” Petito told the officer. “We’ve been fighting all morning. He wouldn’t let me in the car before … he told me I needed to calm down.”
Police described the incident as a “domestic problem” where no charges were filed, after Petito slapped Laundrie during a fight. The video comes as Petito was reported missing on September 11, with Laundrie now a person of interest in her disappearance.
Another news conference is expected to be held by police sometime Thursday to provide an update on the investigation.
