EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (77WABC) —  New video shows a subway conductor getting punched in a random assault in Brooklyn while on-duty, and police are hoping the video will lead to an arrest.

The attack happened on September 1 just before 4 a.m. at the Grant Avenue A train station in East New York.

Police say the attacker punched the 33-year-old conductor in the face multiple times unprovoked, before fleeing the station. The conductor was taken to Brookdale Hospital for treatment.
