Last week I interviewed for an internship here at WABC not knowing what to expect, but after speaking with my supervisor Kandace I felt comfortable right away. I told Kandace about what I do at Mitchell and how I have a sports radio show there and the fact that I am now the President of Radio Mitchell. After my interview Kandace seemed very impressed and gave me the job. The best part about getting this is the fact that I can come back to WABC on my breaks from school. The person who really helped me get this job was my Yiayia Fannie who was a big fan of my radio show at Mitchell. Another person who was an avid fan of my show was my Pappou Mort who saw what great talent I had behind the mic. So far at WABC I have learned a lot with screening calls, using adobe, and being the video room to edit videos and produce podcasts as well. In closing I really enjoyed my first week and look forward to week two.
