Brooklyn, NY (77WABC)-A 27-year-old man working behind the counter at the Z & M Smoke Shop at 616 Livonia Ave. was taken to a hospital after being pistol whipped in his face during an armed robbery.
Police say two male suspects walked up to the store’s counter the evening of Friday, August 6th. One man pointed a gun at the store clerk. The second suspect went behind the counter and removed cash from the shop’s register, as he allegedly did so, police say the first suspect pistol whipped the clerk.
The two male suspects left the store with $500 in cash and the store clerk’s wallet and Samsung Galaxy cellphone. EMS took the clerk to Brookdale Hospital for treatment of a cut to his forehead.
Police have released descriptions of the two suspects. The first man has a dark complexion, slim build, and was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a blue face mask, a black t-shirt, blue jeans, gray sneakers a red fanny bag. He was in possession of a black firearm. The second man also has a dark complexion, and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a multi-colored face mask, a black t-shirt, gray shorts and black sneakers.
