A Woman Waiting for a Bus Punched by a Female Suspect; Anti-Mexican Statements Made

The NYPD has released this photo of an unidentified female suspect in this case.

Queens, NY (77WABC)-An unprovoked attack against a woman waiting for a bus at the intersection of 63 Drive and Woodhaven Boulevard is under investigation by the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force.

Police say around 11 in the morning Wednesday, August 4th, a 49-year-old woman was waiting for a bus when another female approached her. The woman waiting for the bus was punched in her head several times and had anti-Mexican statements made to her.

The woman who was attacked suffered pain and bruising to her head. She was transported by EMS in stable condition to North Shore Hospital.
