Suffolk County, NY (77WABC)- Suffolk County Police say a juvenile is under arrest in the shooting death of 21-year-old Luis Cameran Rimmer-Hernandez of Dix Hills.
Police say the Dix Hills man was shot and killed in Huntington Station on August 9th.
Rimmer-Hernandez was fatally shot in front of 56 Lowndes Ave. in Huntington Station at 10:49 pm.
Second Precinct police officers responded to the area after a 911 caller reported hearing gunshots in the street. Officers found the Dix Hills man lying in the street with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The name of the juvenile has not been released due to his age.
The juvenile was held overnight at a secure juvenile facility and is scheduled to be arraigned at the Youth Part of County Court today.
