Before the beloved hip-hop legend Biz Markie is laid to rest, his family will be hosting a funeral for him in grand fashion Monday, at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.
the “Clown Prince of Hip-Hop,” who grew up in Patchogue, passed away Friday, July 16.
He was 57.
The services will run from around 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Rev. Al Sharpton will deliver the eulogy, according to an announcement, and fellow hip-hop artists Fat Joe, Papoose, LL Cool J, members of the Juice Crew and others will also be attending.
