The Food and Drug Administration says it is fast tracking the process of issuing a final and full approval for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.
An FDA spokeswoman said the agency has taken an all hands on deck approach to complete the review of the application.
The three vaccines currently in use in the US have emergency use authorization only.
Health experts say full approval may encourage more people to get vaccinated.
