NY: Commercial Landlords Commit To Make COVID-Safe Offices
New York (77WABC) – Police say a 14-year-old boy jumped to his death from the Vessel at the Hudson Yards Thursday afternoon.
The teen jumped from the eighth story of the structure at West 33rd Street and 10th Avenue around 12:30 p.m. and was pronounced dead just before 1 p.m.
The teenager’s name has not been immediately released. He is the fourth person to commit suicide at the tourist attraction since it opened in March 2019.
“We are heartbroken by this tragedy and our thoughts are with the family of the young person who lost their life,” spokeswoman Kimberly Winston said to the Daily News. “We are conducting a full investigation.”
