A Half Dozen Robberies at McDonald’s Dollar Tree and Family Dollar Linked to One Suspect

Bronx, NY (77WABC)-The NYPD is seeking a suspect in connection with a half dozen robberies in the Bronx. In some incidents employees were held at knifepoint as the suspect allegedly stole cash from McDonald’s, Dollar Tree and and Family Dollar locations.

Police say the series of robberies began on April 20th, 2021 at approximately 11:25 at night. The suspect approached a 20 year-old female employee inside of McDonalds, located at 279 East 149 Street. The suspect forcibly moved the employees hand and stole $52 in cash from the register and fled.

The next incident also occurred at a McDonalds at 925 Hunts Point Avenue. Police say the suspect displayed a knife to a 31- year-old female employee.  He proceeded to remove $109 in cash from the register and fled.

The next incident occurred at a Family Dollar store at at 1315 Boston Road. Police say the suspect displayed a knife to a 24 year-old female employee, and ordered her to move back.  He then removed $219 from the register and fled.

A Dollar Tree store at  at 250 East 144 Street was targeted next.  On May 8th shortly after 2 in the afternoon the suspect removed $450 from the stores register as he held a  knife to a 34 year-old male employee.

 A month later, on June 10th the suspect entered a McDonalds, located at 1600 Boston Road, displayed a knife to the 25 year-old female and removed approximately $100 in cash and fled.

The last incident reported to police happened four days later, shortly before one am when the suspect entered a McDonalds atat 2870 3rd Avenue. He displayed a knife to a 30 year-old male employee stealing $105 in cash and fled.
