A sad note from the world of entertainment, comedian and actor Jackie Mason, has died.
Mason was a rabbi who rose to fame as a TV Funnyman becoming a fixture on the Ed Sullivan Show.
About himself, he once said: “I was so self-conscious, every time football players went into a huddle; I thought they were talking about me.”
He was also well known for his work on Broadway starring in a number of plays and one man shows, as well as his work in movies such as Caddyshack 2 and The Jerk.
In honor of his death, we at 77WABC would like to share with you his last visit with us, which was back in April during the Independence Day celebration broadcast.
Jackie Mason, dead, at the age of 93.
In memory of the late, great #JackieMason, we reshare with you one of his finest kvetches with @JCats2013 during the #77WABC #Israeli Independence Day celebration broadcast on 4/15/21.https://t.co/dsGHaXQo2z
