The arrest comes as the NYPD has put out an all-out blitz on cracking down on illegal dirt bikes and ATV’s which have been crisscrossing city streets — causing havoc on roadways and sidewalks. In fact — the NYPD during a press conference on Tuesday says the department has seized 565 of the vehicles within the past three months.
The child suffered trauma to the head and was removed to Flushing Hospital and was later transferred to Cohen’s Children’s Hospital where he is undergoing additional evaluations. He remains in critical, but stable, condition. His family is expecting a full recovery.
