A Suspect Slashes a Man in Queens Making Anti-Gay Statements

Queens, NY (77WABC)-An argument in front of 37-55 77 Street in Queens Tuesday escalated. Police say a suspect pulled out a knife slashing a 34-year-old man in his face. The suspect also made anti-gay statements towards the victim before fleeing the area on foot.
The attack happened at approximately 3:10 in the morning on July 6th, with the victim taken by EMS to NYC Health & Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition. Police have not said what started the argument.
The suspect police are looking for is described as a dark-skinned adult male, medium build, black short hair and last seen wearing a white collar shirt, black pants, black shoes and seen carrying a black Addidas bag.
Surveillance photos of the individual police are looking for are attached.
