BROOKLYN —– (77WABC) The undisputed king of Coney Island has done it again!
Joey Chestnut has just won the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest for the 14th time by beating his own record by one wiener.
His previous record was 75 hot dogs and buns. Today it grew to 76.
That wasn’t the only record he broke, however. He also broke fellow eater Takeru Kobayashi’s record of eating 50 hot dogs in under 5 minutes.
In the women’s championship, Michelle Lesco woofed down 30 3/4 hot dogs and buns.
