Kamala Harris Visits The Border – Texas
Vice President Kamala Harris finally visited the US-Mexico border on Friday — except in the wrong place.
Harris toured an area in El Paso, Texas, which critics are saying is far from any actual immigration problems near the border.
“You don’t go to El Paso to see what is actually going on at the border,” said Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, in a Fox News interview.
Judd added that Harris should have visited either McAllen, Texas or Tucson, Ariz., where migrants are either being caught by border police or evading them.

“I’m glad to be here,” Harris said at a press briefing. “It was always the plan to come here.”
Critics are also saying Harris rushed the visit to get there ahead of former President Donald Trump, who is visiting next week.
Harris was appointed over three months ago to lead the Biden administration’s response to illegal immigration. The Vice President has faced months of criticism from both parties for not making the trip sooner and giving vague answers to why she hasn’t. 56 House lawmakers signed a letter last week addressed to President Biden, demanding she be removed from her role as the head of the migrant crisis response.
