An Armed Home Invasion in the Bronx Nets $100,000 Three Suspects at Large After One Pretends to be a Deliveryman

Bronx, NY (77WABC)-It was the morning of June 7th, 2021 around 8:20 am when a 62-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman heard a knock on the door of their apartment

in the vicinity of East 177th Street and the Cross Bronx Expressway.

The person knocking pretended to have a delivery for the couple. When the apartment door was opened by the man the suspect forced his way inside and displayed a firearm.

The 62-year-old man was forced into a back room where a 61-year-old female was located.

Police say the man was bound. Both the man and the woman were held at gunpoint while two additional suspects entered the apartment and searched the apartment for valuables.

All three fled the location in a white SUV on the Cross Bronx Expressway Service Road with $100,000 in cash. Both victims refused medical attention.
