NEW YORK —— (77WABC) FDNY Marshals have announced the seizure of thousands of dollars worth of illegal fireworks.
In the first bust, $3900 dollars worth of fireworks was confiscated from Shawn, Christopher & Steve Haripershad.
3 unidentified individuals were involved in a similar but separate bust resulting in $4100 worth of fireworks being confiscated.
City officials have announced a big crackdown on illegal fireworks as the July 4th weekend approaches.
