Williamsburg, Brooklyn (77WABC)-An intruder was shot in his head and died during a possible home invasion at 666 Broadway in Williamsburg Thursday afternoon.
Police are still working to determine exactly what happened. Two people inside an apartment at that location were shot, a 36-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman.
A third person living in the apartment, either returned to the apartment or appeared upon hearing the gunfire.
It is unclear at this time who shot the man police found with a fatal gunshot wound to his head in the hallway outside of the apartment. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man killed and the other people involved have not yet been identified by police.
The injured woman was taken to Kings County hospital with a gunshot wound to her right arm. The 36-year-old man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital after being shot in his
torso.
Both are reported in stable condition.
