Queens, NY (77WABC)-A Bronx man who allegedly shot and killed a Queens man as he sat in the front seat of a vehicle is under arrest charged with the man’s murder.
The motive in the killing of Kayron Wilson is unclear. Police say the man was shot at the corner of 12 Street and 40 Avenue on Monday, May 10th. Police say two suspects approached discharging a firearm striking the man in his chest. Wilson was pronounced dead at Cornell Hospital.
Charged in Wilson’s murder is Darrius Saunders of 2113 Belmont Avenue in the Bronx. In addition to the charge of murder, police say he is also charged with the Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a Loaded Firearm. He was arrested Tuesday.
An investigation continues.
