New York, NY (77WABC)- The NYPD has announced that the suspect they were searching for in connection with three separate luring incidents involving young girls in Brooklyn is now in police custody. Charges against 25-year-old Brandon Rodriguez, who allegedly used a Husky and a smaller dog in the incidents, have not yet been announced.

Police say the incidents, involving luring and endangering the welfare of a child, began on Monday, May 24th.  Police say at approximately 7:39 in the morning in the vicinity of Osborn Street and Pitkin Avenue, Rodriguez approached a 13-year-old female and asked her to take a picture of him with his dog.  Police say Rodriguez then led the teenage victim inside of an apartment building where he allegedly touched her inappropriately and prevented her from leaving by taking her backpack and placing a dog by the doorway of the building. The teen’s friend called out to her, and the suspect fled.

The second incident was reported the next day, on Tuesday, May 25th at approximately 07:10 in the morning near 51 Christopher Avenue also in Brooklyn. Police say Rodriguez approached a 12-year-old female victim and asked her to take a picture of him with his dog. Rodriguez then tried to lead the girl into an apartment building. The female victim became frightened and ran away.

The third incident was reported to police an hour and 21 minutes later near Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue. There, police say, Rodriguez approached an 11-year-old female victim and asked her to take a picture of him with his dog. The suspect then tried to lead the girl into an apartment building. The female became frightened and ran away.

Police released the following video of Rodriguez:
