Knicks Fans Back At The Madison Square Garden – NYC
New York, NY (77WABC)-There’s even more opportunity for you to get your Covid-19 vaccination if you have not done so already. Mobile vaccination sites will be set up at New York City’s public beaches as they re-open for the season beginning Sat. May 29th. NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio also announced during his morning briefing that starting today from 10 am to 6 pm people can receive a Covid19 vaccination outside of MSG as the NY Knicks have agreed to join in the vaccination effort.
Anyone receiving their vaccination today at the mobile site outside of MSG will be eligible for a chance for tickets to Wednesday’s NBA playoff game between the Knicks and the Hawks.

Anyone getting their vaccination tomorrow outside of MSG will be eligible for a playoff ticket to the next Knicks playoff game
“This is positive this is great and I thank the Knicks for getting involved,” said Mayor DeBlasio. He was joined by former NY Knick Player Allan Houston in urging anyone age 16 and up to get their Covid19 vaccination.
Houston said those getting their vaccination will be eligible for free NY Knicks merchandise “while it lasts” and the free Playoff tickets.
Houston, a shooting guard, played in the National Basketball Association from 1993 to 2005. He played nine seasons for the New York Knicks; he was a member of the Knicks’ 1999 NBA Finals team.
The NY Knicks lost to the Atlanta Hawks 107 to 105 Sunday in game one of Round One in the best of seven NBA playoff series. Game two is Wed. night at MSG at 7:30 pm.
