A video that surfaced on Twitter Wednesday shows a mob of Palestine-supporting protesters fighting against what appears to be two Israel-supporting protesters.

The video shows the two Israel supporters being confronted by the group of Palestine supports, when got physical soon after. Punches were thrown and items were hurled at the man holding the Israeli flag.
Police were at the scene and tried restrain both groups, with police taking the man with the Israeli flag into custody.
This comes after weeks of back-and-forth attacks and protests between Israel and Gaza that have led to multiple deaths and injuries in the state. Protests have also been popping up all over the city, with many protesters on both sides gathering in large groups and marching down busy city streets.
The NYPD reported a similar attack in the same area the video was taken on Tuesday evening where a 54-year-old man got into a verbal dispute with protesters before he was attacked. It is unclear if the two events are related.
