Bay Shore, NY (77WABC)-A 41-year-old Lindenhurst man was left in critical condition after police say he crashed his 2007 Harley Davidson Motorcycle into the rear of a 2014 BMW sedan. Suffolk County police say the driver of the BMW was making a left-hand turn onto Garden Lane around 8:40 pm when Gregory Kostik rear-ended the vehicle.
Kostik was taken to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore where he is listed in critical condition.
The BMW driver was not hurt.
The crash is under investigation by detectives from the Suffolk County Police Departments Third Squad.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
