A Bronx Teen Killed Four Others Hurt After Gunfire Erupts Outside McDonald’s

Bronx, NY (77WABC)-The teenager shot and killed after gunfire erupted outside of a McDonald’s on Webster Ave in the Bronx Saturday night is identified asĀ  17-year-old Armanis Valdez of 1694 Nelson Ave. in the Bronx.

Four others were hurt after gunfire erupted in the rear of 1625 Webster Avenue shortly after 9 pm. Police say gunfire rang out following an argument.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Valdez unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his chest.Ā  EMS responded and transported the male to BronxCare Health System where he was pronounced dead.

Four additional shooting victims were taken to BronxCare Health System by private means.Ā  A 31-year-old male was shot in the left leg, a 28-year-old female shot in the right leg, a 25-year-old male shot twice in the right leg, and a 24-year-old male shot in the right buttocks and left leg, all in stable condition.

Suspects are at large in connection with the shooting outside of McDonald’s.

The five victims were among 11 shooting victims in an eight-hour span Saturday.

On Sunday morning, a 34-year-old man was fatally shot following a dispute in the Bronx on east 184th St. The man died at St. Barnabus Hospital from a gunshot wound to his stomach.

Police recovered a .40-caliber shell casing at the scene.
