Trader Joe’s is one of the first big retail stores to announce that it’s changing its policy regarding mask-wearing. In an update on their COVID-19 information page, the company says that they are no longer requiring customers who are fully vaccinated to wear a mask.
“We encourage customers to follow the guidance of health officials, including, as appropriate, CDC guidelines that advise customers who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear masks while shopping,” says the updated page.
This comes as the CDC announced Thursday that mask wearing indoors will not be required in most places if you are fully vaccinated.
UPDATE: If you are fully vaccinated against #COVID19, you can resume activities without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal or territorial laws, incl. local business and workplace guidance. More: https://t.co/FJMon7WlFO
