The Bronx, NY (77WABC)-86-year-old Duc Le, who is an Asian male, was last seen Thursday morning around 8:15 leaving his home on Saint Paul Avenue in the Bronx.
The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating him.
Le was last seen wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt and black pants. Police say he is approximately 5’5″ tall, weighs 110 lbs., with a thin build, brown eyes, and gray hair.
Police have not indicated that Le may have been a victim of foul play. There’s 
been a dramatic uptick in hate crimes against Asian Americans in NYC believed fueled by the viral pandemic believed to have originated in China.
A Silver Alert is a public notification system in the United States to broadcast information about missing persons – especially senior citizens with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other mental disabilities – in order to aid in locating them.
