A Man Attacked From Behind On A Subway Mezzanine The Suspects At Large

Brooklyn, NY (77WABC)-A 42-year-old man was speaking on his cellphone on the mezzanine of the Atlantic Avenue Station along the B and Q lines when he was suddenly attacked from behind. The victim was punched in his face. A physical altercation ensued between the two men.

The victim was taken to Cobble Hill hospital in stable condition following the attack. He suffered a laceration over his left eye and a laceration to his right cheek.

The unidentified male fled in the subway system towards the 4 and 5 lines. Police are asking the public to help identify the suspect in Wednesday’s attack which occurred around 12:30 pm. The suspect is seen in the video below:
